ways to make your computer faster

Following are some ways by which you can make your computer work faster-

• Defragment  your computer hard disks
• clean up your hard drive space being taken up by temp file, recycle bin and more Clean your registry by removing broken shortcuts, missing shared DLLs, invalid paths, invalid installer references and more. 
• remove unwanted pre-installed programs. 
• delete your internet browsing histories,temp. internet files cookies to free your hard disk space. 
• clean prefetch folder to improve performance. 
• disable XP boot logo to speed up Windows boot time speed up boot time by disabling unused ports on your windows machine  
• If your XP or Vista computer is not using NTFS, make sure you convert your FAT disk to NTFS file system 
• update all your drivers 
• use a good registered antivirus and anti spyware software 
• Replace a slow hard drive with a faster 7200 RPM drive, SATA drive, or SAS drive. 
• Remove extra toolbars from your Windows taskbar and from your Internet browser. 
• if you are not using some of the hardware on your computer, i.e. floppy drive, CD-ROM drive, USB ports, IR ports, Firewire, etc, then go into your BIOS and disable them so that they do not use any power and do not have to be loaded during boot up.
