And all starts with this clicks, after clicking on these links, you start getting troubles like lost of your username and password, your important files, or working in computer. And all these happens due to simple clicking on a link. Here are certain ways you can protect yourself from these links-
- Hiding behind short URL One of the most frequent ways that criminals use to spread malware is by using shortened URls (like bit.ly/abcde) whose random character conceal the actual domain.
